I'll dominate 'serious boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.

Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for next month's bout.

Former two-time world title holder Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Boxer's Attitude

"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's my goal."

Respectful Exchange

In spite of those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically famous for his showmanship - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul instead attacked ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British rival Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Fighter

In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's greatest financial successes, frequently receiving massive paydays.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.

"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.

Size Difference

As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual face-off, with their physical disparity evident, it drove home just how surprising this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really going ahead.
